(One side's picture is from the movie, of Satsuki and Mei clinging
on to Totoro as they fly.)

Headline: MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO
"Finally An Animated Adventure For Children Of All Ages!"

Parents will be amazed
Children will understand
Everyone will love... TOTORO!

Below are the Japanese credits, the G rating, and the logos
for Tokuma and 50th St. Films.

(On the other side are original pictures from the film, of Totoro, of
Satsuki, Mei, and the Totoros blowing their flutes, of Mei scratching
Totoro's nose, and of Satsuki hugging the catbus as Mei looks on.
Also, there's an ad for the Tokuma Magical Adventure books, along with
an address on who to contact (at 50th Street Films).)

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO
In the tradition of ALLADIN, (they spelled "Aladdin" wrong! -Larry)
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and THE LITTLE MERMAID now comes MY NEIGHBOR
TOTORO--an animated adventure for children of all ages! The worldwide
theatrical smash hit MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO introduces American audiences
to TOTORO, a character who is becoming as beloved as Mickey Mouse to
children the world over. Now the new classic children's storybook
flies to life on the screen! Jump aboard! It's a journey that will
take you to animated heights you've always dreamed about! You'll
laugh with TOTORO! You'll cry with TOTORO! Best of all, you'll fly
with TOTORO!

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO captures the award-winning animated artistry and
creative imagination of Japan's master animation director, Hayao
Miyazaki. Revered in Japan as Walt Disney is revered in America, Mr.
Miyazaki, whose films include KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE, LAPUTA: THE
CASTLE IN THE SKY and MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO, has had enormous box-office
success, attracting audiences of children, as well as adults.

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO is the heartwarming story of two young girls who
are befriended by the furry creatures called TOTOROs. The lovable
TOTOROs can't talk like people nor can they be seen by adults, but
they make perfect sense to the pure and innocent of heart--children.
And when you need to call on a friend for help, you can always look
to MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO.

The Troma team is honored to release the superb entertainment of MY
NEIGHBOR TOTORO to American family audiences. Parents will be
amazed--Children will understand--Everyone will love MY NEIGHBOR
TOTORO!

Stills
====================

(Four stills were included in the presskit I received:
1.) low-angle medium close-up of O Totoro, with Satsuki on the
 lower right, looking rather distraught.
2.) O Totoro, with umbrella, handing the little package of nuts
leftward to Mei, who is perched atop Satsuki.
3.) the catbus leaping towards the veiwer, just having run past a
trolley car/train, which is visible to the right of the frame.
4.) close-up of cat-bus's face, eyes crossed, as Mei runs from the
left--holding her piece of corn--towards Satsuki who runs towards
 her from the right.
                                                 -- Steven Feldman)

Note: I typed in this text as it appeared. There was wide use of
questionable grammar, spellings, and punctuations, but I left
everything as-is, with the exception of inserting a <sic> here
and there...
