This page is homage to the great Yagirobee, my favourite antihero. Among so many noble and powerful warriors, a coward and despicable one like Yagirobee is needed. I love it! Once again I reffer to Cels Piñol's articles. I leave you with him:

Who has said that all the great heroes have to be tall, muscly, blond-haired and very handsome? Not all the adventurous look like Arnold Schwarzenneger. Yagirobee, for example, doesn't care much about his own image: he has long and bad-cut hair, he is a "bit" over his ideal weight, he wears simple clothes and uses vulgar expressios. And he has no intention of changing. He's happy about his own appearance and the only thing that really drives him crazy is food.

While Piccolo Daimaoh crisis, Son Gokou reach a lost island in the middle of the ocean. When he had recovered from a spectacular fall, he felt food smell. By the coast, he found a fish which was being cooked in an improvised grill. Due to his charachteristic voracity, he ate it all without thinking that somebody may be losing his dinner. Then, when he was already thinking in the dessert, Yagirobee appeared with a sword in his hand and a dragon ball around his neck.

Despite the clear overweight, Yagirobee proved to be an effective fighter, especially when he did heavy attacks wiht the large mass that his body represents.

When one of the wenchman of Piccolo Daimaoh arrives in the island, he faces him- after having spoken it with Gokou. No matter how many hits did he receive, the tyre-fighter always hit back. Finally he cut him in two with a single thrust, light a good fire...and he ate him. This lack of scrupules surprised Gokou a bit, but afterwards he understood that when your stomach is empty, anything is good enough to calm your hunger down.

Piccolo Daimaoh arrived to the island later on, left Gokou inconscious again, stole the dragon ball and he left to fight against the rest of fighters. Yagirobee put Gokou's head inside the water to wake him up. This unorthodox method worked perfectly: the injured Gokou asked him for some help. Yagi agreed in helping him and went with him to the Holy Tower of Karin.

When they were already in the Tower, Yagirobee had a gluttony attack and scoffed all the Magic Beans that Karin was keeping in a container. That's when we really noticed that his stomach was proved against bombs. Yagi seems to live in this Tower, where all the warriors who want to visit Karin go to find him to ask for some advice. He must have really liked Beans!!

Although he is a bit selfish, he can behave like an exemplary warrior: the main problem is that, naturally, he'd rather disappear from the conflictive places than compare his strength and techniques, as the rest of Martial Arts experts like doing. He prefers to lie down in the sun and have a saucy apperitif in the West City.

Yagirobee is a perfect messenger. Not more than that, unfortunately. You can't even ask him to carry little Trunks, because he will complain and complain.

He has taken part in the Martial Arts Tournament sometimes, wearing the uniform of the W.W.F (world Wrestling Federation)- or a really similar one. His worse threaten to the opponents is that he will seat on their heads...

Faults: If a very important or violent match is played, he prefers to stay in the bench...

Virtues: He can eat as many Mexican especialities as he wants in a restaurant because he won't have heartburn afterwards.
