Piccolo

He is named after his father, who had been born in Namek but had emigrated to Earth. When he arrived here, he decided he wanted to be its God. However, this couldn't happen because he had an evil part. Throughout a strange technique he splat in two and expelled his evil part, which became Daimaoh while the good part became God (Kamisama). Piccolo was born from an egg Daimaoh spitted before Gokou killed him. At the beginning, he was evil and he fought against Gokou in the Martial Arts Tournament (Tenkaichi Budokai) but he couldn’t. When more powerful enemies come, like Raditz, he had no choice but joining the good ones to defeat them. That's how he will become a good charachter.

Kame Sennin

Also known as Mutenroixi master or Jackie Chan, Kame Sennin is the master of Gokou and Kuririn. He had been the strongest fighter in the Earth for years and years and had done heroic deeds with his strength. Gokou learnt from him not only how to be a good fighter, but also espectacular techniques as Kamehameha energy ball. He's the funniest character of the series, a dirty old man who enjoys himself with any slightly erotic situation.

Kuririn

He's one of the nicest characters of the series. He joins Gokou in Kame Sennin's training and he's part of the protagonists' group nearly from the beginning. Although in comparison with the rest he is not a wonderful fighter, he is the strongest earthling fighter. He gets married with the android A-18 and has a daughter.

Pan

She's the first daughter of Son Gohan and Biddle, that is, the first Gokou’s grandaughter. Pan, Son Gokou, Trunks and the android Giru play the lead role in Dragon Ball GT. She's brave and impulsive, so she doesn't hesitate to hide herself in Goten and Trunks's spaceship to seek the dragon balls with them.

Mr.Satan

He is a funny character in the series. Satan is the World Champion of martial arts, (it is quite clear that in the tournament he won the heroes of DB did not participate). He is vain and he thinks that is is the strongest in the world and he doesn't doubt a minute when an opportunity comes to show it, even if he knows he is incredibly inferior to Son Goku & co. However, Satan had an important role in the fight against Boo, though it was completely unintentional. He is Biddle's father and this means he is Gohan's father-in-law (brrr!!!)

Son Gohan

He's the first son of Gokou and this marked him for life. When Raditz kills Gokou, Piccolo begins to train him. This will create strong bonds between them. He's usually a quiet child, although he's been involved in battles since his early childhood. He's the architect of the victory against Cell, as he goes over the supersaiyajin level just in time. He reaches the second level of supersaiyajin for the first time in the series. He marries Satan's daughter, Biddle, and has a daughter with her, Pan.

Son Gokou

He is the undisputed main charachter of the series. He is a saiyajin of inferior level, who was born in planet Vegita and was sent to the Earth to conquer it . However, when he arrives in the Earth, he hits his head and becomes good. Thanks to Kame Sennin, his first master, he acquires a good technique and the principles of hand-to-hand combat. Afterwards, self-training and countless fights would make him stronger and stronger until he would become the most powerful fighter of the Earth and later on, of the Universe. Not only is he the first to become a supersaiyajin, but also goes over this level. He arrives to the fourth level of supersaiyajin in Dragon Ball GT. He's innocent, childish, honest and very brave. He is married to Chichi and has two sons: Son Gohan and Son Goten.

Son Goten

He appears at the end of Dragonball Z. He's the second son of Gokou, although he doesn't know his father, who had died before in the fight against Cell. His higher merit is taking part in the first fusion of the series. Trunks and he become Gotrunks to face Boo. It's important to emphasize the great resemblance to his father, not only physical (as you can see in the adjoining pic) but also in their character.

Trunks

He's the son of Vegita and Bulma and appears in the series as a character of the future and as a charachter of the present.

Future Trunks

In a future where androids 17 and 18 rule the world, Bulma sends Trunks to the present with a Time-machine of her own invention. His mission is to save Gokou of a heart illness which was going to kill him and fight against the androids with our heroes in order to avoid such a depressing future. He is one of the most lifelike charachters. He helps in the fight against the androids and against Cell and, afterwards, he comes back to the future, saying goodbye to his new friends.

Present Trunks

His first important appearance is in the fight against Boo. He achieves the first fusion of the series. With Son Goten, they make Gotrunks. Another of his appearances is in the Junior Martial Arts Tournament (Tenkaichi Budokai). He wins the title, after defeating Son Goten in the final. In DragonBall GT, he plays a lead role with Pan and Gokou and together they will look for the Black Star Dragon Balls, which are spread all over the universe.

Vejita

He is one of the main charachters of Dragonball Z. He's the prince of planet Vejita, so he is Saiyajin of superior standing. He escapes from the destruction of his planet done by Freezer. He arrives to the Earth to avenge the death of Raditz, killed by Gokou and Piccolo. He faces them, but loses at the end. However his pride, he will join them to defeat Freezer. Though the hate he feels about Gokou, he has to stay by him in order to defeat him someday. He even fuses wiht him to fight against Boo, becoming Gojita. He has a son with Bulma, Trunks.
