Androids

Dr Gero, from the Red Ribbon Army, is an expert on designing androids. Among his creations, we find A-8 (also called Frankestein), A-16, A-17, A-18, A-19 and A-20. A-17, A-18, A-19 and A-20 are cyborgs, that is to say, they are androids with human components. However, A16, which is the most powerful of all, is completely artificial. A-20 is dr.Gero himself. A-17 and A18 are the best known androids. One has the appearence of a boy, while the other looks like a girl. They are ruthless and do their best to enjoy themselves, that means, to kill and destroy as much as possible. They were designed to kill Gokou, but they rebel against their creator and kill dr.Gero. Cell absorbs them to increase his power. At the end, Cell is defeated and, thanks to Dragon Shenron, A-18 becomes human and marries Kuririn, whom he will have a daughter. Despite this, she still keeps her agressive character.

Boo

He is the last of the great "baddies" of Dragonball Z and he is the one who causes more problems. It had been created by the wizard Bibidi and was waked up by his son, Babidi. It represents a monster of a scaring power who can defeat any enemy. While he is fighting against Gokou and his friends, he undergoes many transformations, in one of which he expels his good part, which becomes a separate character: plump Boo. After an epic battle, Gokou and Vejita with the help of the good Boo, they beat Majin Boo (the bad Boo).

Cell

This "baddie" is called Cell because it was created by Dr.Gero from the cells of the most powerful warriors. It is a fearsome being, whose one programmed objective is to kill Gokou. Every time it absorbs an android it goes through a different stage of power and perfection. When it absorbs A-17 and A-18 he undergoes a transformation and reaches the higher stage of perfection, becoming a monster of incredible power and being called "Perfect Cell". The only person who is able to beat him is Son Gohan, who due to Cell's provocations, becomes really angry and reaches the second level of Super Saiyajin. It is the first time in the series that somebody goes beyond the initial level of Super Saiyajin.

Freezer

He is one of top-of-the-series "baddies". He was born in another galaxy, and he is part of an unknown race of warriors. He arrives in our galaxy alone and he soon sets up an army, with Vegeta and the Saiyajin in it. Although, at the beginning, Saiyajin are his allies, he destroys the planet Vegeta, their home, because they were beginning to become a threat. When Freezer is told about the dragon balls and their unlimited power, he goes to Namek to find them because he wants to be immortal. However, Gokou stops him in an epic battle which will end with the destruction of Namek. Freezer is able to overgo three transformations. Every transformation multiplies his power by ten.

Pilaf

It is the most stupid "baddie" of the series. Nearly from the first chapter he appears in the series putting obstacles in Gokou and co.'s search for the dragon balls. Pilaf has an obsession which is "becoming the king of the world". That's why he wants to find the balls at any price. This character is really funny because of his physical appearance and his absurd methods, in the best Dr.Slump-age Toriyama style. Pilaf begins DragonBall Gt with his involuntary wish of Gokou being a child again.
