Welcome to the (possibly) only page in the Internet completely dedicated to the Dragon Shenron !!!!

With this page I want to vindicate the importance of this character, which though it is the character that gives its name to the series Dragon Ball it has a secondary role and it only appears when and where the main characters want.

The Dragon Shenron, which means "divine dragon", is an enormous dragon that appears when somebody gathers the seven Dragon Balls, and which can concede any wish to its caller. Its shape is that of an Eastern mythological dragon, it is similar to an enormous, twisted snake, as you can see in the pictures included in this page.

This dragon has an "imitator" in the series: the Namek Dragon, which is a burlier, bigger dragon which can concede three wishes, against the only one that can concede the Dragon Shenron.

Shenron appearances

Dragon Ball

In the first part of the series, the Dragon Shenron appeared only four times:

-The first timeit was called by Pilaf, who wanted to be the king of the world, but Oolong was there first and he asked for a lady's panties.

-The second time it was called by Gokou, who asked for the resurrection of his Indian friend Upah's father, after having dealed with the Red Ribbon Army during a good number of episodes to be able to gather the seven balls.

-The third time it was called by Piccolo Daimaoh who asked to be young again. Then, after his wish was conceded, Piccolo ungratefully destroyed the Dragon Shenron.

Gokou wanted God to resurrect the Dragon Shenron. He convinced God and this fourth time he asked for the resurrection of all the people  killed by Satan, including Kuririn, Kame Sennin and Chaos.

Dragon Ball Z

1- Bulma wished Gokou back after he sacrificed hifself against Raditz.

2- On planet Namek, Kulilin, Gohan and Dende told Porunga (the Namek Shenron) to a) Ressurect Piccolo, b) Bring him to Namek and c)....Saichourou (the leader of the Nameks) died therefore Porunga disappeared.

3- Kami-sama used his Dragon balls to wish everyone killed by Freezer back to life.

4- Dende told Porunga (Saichourou was brought back by the last wish) to take every from Namek, except Gokou and Freezer, to Earth.

5- After Cell was killed, Dende used his balls to a) Bring back those killed by Cell and b) Take the bombs out of #17 and #18. A third wish was not made.

6- While Babi-di and Majin Buu were terrorizing people, Bulma told Shenron to bring back the people killed in the last few days, excluding the evil ones.

7- Dende went to Namek and used the balls there to a) Re-construct the Earth, b) Ressurect everyone killed after the last tenkaichi-boudoukai (excluding the evil ones) and c) Bring Gokou back to full power.

8- 6 months later, Dende used his balls to make everyone on Earth to forget out Majin Buu.

Dragon Ball GT

1- Pilaf used the Black Star balls to turn Gokou in to a kid again.

2- Baby made Dende use the Black Star balls to make Baby a planet.

3- After the Earth blew up because of the Black Start balls, they used the regular balls to re-construct the Earth.

4- Shenron's last appearance was when he had to leave for good after the evil Shenrons were beaten. Before he left with Gokou, he ressurected everyone killed by the evil Shenrons and Super #17.
