This is a tribute page for the unselfish, charming and kind Sea Turtle, who has been forgotten for a long time and who has a marginal role in the series: to be Kame Sennin's assistant. Having read Cels Piñol's article, I have no intention of writing down a new one because his is just perfect. I hope he will forgive me for using his words and translating them...

Nearly all the animal kingdom is represented, in a way or in another, in the stories of Son Gokou's adventures. Naturally, a thousand-year-old, wise, sensible and venerable being must also appear: it is the Sea Turtle.

It first appeared in the life of Son Gokou, when he mistakes it for a stone and it's about to break it into a milion pieces just to train himself. The turtle, quite forgetful, maybe because of his age, had left its island looking for mushrooms and got lost. It had spent a year walking, looking unsuccesfully for the sea. After offering it some water and some salt, Bulma shows it to this chelonian yearnig home: around 120 km away.

Son Gokou offered to take her there unselfishly. In their way, he saves it from being eaten by a huge brown bear, which was looking forward to having turtle soup for dinner and making and earring with its shell. Thanks to the Turtle, Gokou saw the sea for first time, taking it, at the beginning, for a very large river. The Sea Turtle shares with Kame Sennin a small stretch of water, with a house and some palm-trees included, in the middle of a large stretch of water. It is always trying to calm down the instincts of Kame Sennin, especially when he asks the girls to show him their breast or their knickers in return for small presents. Nevertheless, this old man, keeps on trying to the extent that the Turtle has to give in, sweat a bit and cover its forehead with its flippers.

When Kame Sennin has to leave for a while, it takes care of everything. However, when the Turtle has to leave, Mutenroshi Master spends the day watching videos of girls doing aerobics and convinces Gokou of fetching him a good-looking girl as a payment for training him.

Although the Sea Turtle seems to be really slow, it can be really effective in extreme situations. It's silent and, if she crawls silently along the sand, it can beat any fellow who has arrived to the island with bad intentions. It even behaved heroically when the Red Ribbon troops disembark by Kame House and took Lunch: It got close to her, silently and hidden, with a palm-tree branch in its hands and tickled her nose with it. Lunch sneezed and become the agressive thief we all know. She fleed from her captors, so Kame Sennin was able to beat all the troops without any apparent effort.

The sea Turtle is also a trained accountant and manages Kame Sennin's goods to avoid him wasting all the money in obscene things. Fortunately, there is still somebody sensible in the group!

Faults: it can't play baseball. Although it is good at hitting it can't arrive on time to the next base...

Virtues: wisedom. It will never give you bad advice.

When Maron arrives to the island, it is the first to receive her caresses... I wish I was a turtle!
