Welcome to my most personal page, for in this page I will try to make a good advertisement for me and for my incredible skills in the field of translation. (Let's see if somebody swallows the bait and I can at last begin to earn a lot of money) :-)

OK, we can begin with a sort of shortened and illustrative curriculum vitae (if you fancy a more detailed curriculum, don't doubt to write me and I will gladly send it to you). I am studying the last year of my degree on Translation and Interpretation in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which means that I already have a fairly important experience in translation.

The languages I master are English and French and i am able to translate from these languages into Catalan and Spanish. I am specially good in translating from English into Catalan. During my degree I have taken part in the ERASMUS European exchange programme and I've spent a year in Poitiers (France).

In addition to that, this year I am studying the third course of Japanese. At this moment I do not have the guts to try to translate from this language, but I can do some tentative translations. This year I have the possibility to ask for an exchange grant and if I can obtain it I will go to Japan for a whole year. Then the moment of speaking seriously about translation from Japanese will have arrived. I wish I have a lot of luck!

It is important for me to do some practice in translation, in order to being able to begin to enter the market and make me some place in it. I also think that the commercial companies and, why not, the individuals, would have to trust these students who offer themselves to do translations which are both completely competitive and have a more than reasonable price.
