This Sega Saturn game, released in three installments between September 1996 and March 1997, spans the last weeks of the One Year War. It incorporates design elements from both 1995's Cross Dimension 0079 and the ongoing 08th MS Team video series, and throws in the newtype-simulating EXAM system for good measure.

A very good comic adaptation of the Blue Destiny story was published in Haoh Magazine between October 1996 and March 1997, and subsequently collected into a single volume. However, this abbreviated version ends the story after the events of the second volume.
