It was a two-show event, as I understand it, and both runs were apparently
filmed with the best parts of each put into the video version. All performances
were sold out almost immediately the day tickets became available.

Not at all! Go ahead and enjoy them both. Hanagumi Tsushin was an interim
product between ST and the Hanagumi Columns game (and looks it), and the
excellent Steam Radio Show served as an interim between HC and ST2 (there's
even an preview of ST2 in SRS, but you have to earn it <g>).
