Much of the info here is translated from a posted message by Enkai-kun ZERO. Thanks! This chronology will be updated as I get more dates of events pinned down. Oh, and there are some spoilers in here, so don't read too far ahead if you haven't finished the game yet.

  • (Spring) The Imperial Theater was completed.
  • (March) Sakura arrived at the Imperial Capital to join the Hanagumi [Beginning of story in Sakura Taisen]
  • (April) Oogami assumed the role of leader of the Hanagumi; First skirmish with Sa'tan of the Hive of Darkness in Ueno Park.
  • (May) Kohran transferred from the Hanayashiki branch to the Hanagumi headquarters; Skirmish with Tenkai at Shiba Park.
  • (June) Kanna returned from training in Okinawa; Defeated Setsuna of the Hive of Darkness at Tsukiji.
  • (July) Iris went out of control, causing major destruction in Asakusa; Defeated Rasetsu of the Hive of Darkness in Asakusa.
  • (August) Oogami, Kanna and Sumire went to the abandoned house in Fukagawa to investigate, where they met and fought with Miroku of the Hive of Darkness; Later Miroku launched full-scale assault at the Imperial Theater.
  • (September) Completion of the "Patriarchal Cross" by the Hive of Darkness, causing major destruction in the Imperial Capital; Hanagumi members' showdown with Tenkai under the Nihonbashi, where Tenkai and the Hive of Darkness were finally defeated.
  • Taisho-13
    (1924)
  • (January) Hanagumi members ambushed by Sa'tan in Meiji Jinguu (Shinto shrine); First skirmish with kouma (demons), koubu units were no match for kouma; New and more powerful jinbu mecha units completed; Fought and finished kouma-leader Inoshishi in Ginza.
  • (March) kouma-leader Shika launched attack on Imperial Theater but was defeated; kouma-leader Ayame took the three majinki (ancient ceremonial instruments) from the Imperial Theater and gave them to Sa'tan; Hanagumi fought and defeated kouma-leader Cho; Using the majinki, Sa'tan summoned forth the Holy Evil City, which threatened to completely obliterate the Imperial Capital; Final battle between Sa'tan and Hanagumi.     (1925)
  • (Spring) Appearance of a new mysterious enemy, the Black Demon Society (kokki-kai), which threatened the Imperial Capital once again; Addition of two new members to the Hanagumi: Soletta Orihime and Leni Milchstrasse. [Beginning of story in Sakura Taisen 2]
