The Companies

Red Company Homepage [Japanese] - contains official info about Sakura Taisen.

This picture is drawn by Sasaki Momoko and is from the Red Company Homepage. It's so cute I can't resist grabbing it. Everybody should recognize Sakura on the right (feeling a bit uneasy it seems ^_^;), in the middle is Red's boss Hiroi Ohji, and the character on the left is from Tengai Makyou (another successful game from Red).

Sega Enterprises (Japan)
- lots of stuff about Sega games, including Sakura Taisen of course ^_^ There's also a Sega Forum where you can browse and leave messages about Sega games. Sega of Japan just opened an online shop. Unfortunately they don't accept international orders at this time.

Ken Yang's Imperial Opera House

The Sakura Times International
- maintained by Clancy. Lots of info presented in newspaper style. I do agree with Clancy that it's pity Sakura Taisen isn't translated into English, and I do hope that it will be one day...

David Huang's Sakura Wars page

Fujisawa's Anime page
- contains Sakura Taisen themes for Windows 95, plus Sakura Taisen OVA, subtitled.

Charles Kwong's Imperial Opera Ticket Reservation Service
- um, how much are the tickets? You take credit cards? ^_^

Sakura Taisen pages in Japanese

Unofficial Sakura Wars Homepage
- the most informative general Sakura Taisen homepage

FUNYA's Sakura Wars page
- has LIPS listings of each episode, some mecha technical data and other stuff.

Oonishi Takayuki-san's Sakura Taisen page
- has a very funny Sakura Taisen parody (as far as I understand ^_^;). There's also a Sakura encyclopedia (for fun ^_^).

Nonaka-san's Sakura Biyori page
- seems it's fashionable in Japan to have these cute little banners for linkage... "I gotta get me one of these!"... so I did ^_^

Sakura Wars Quiz!
- tests your knowledge of Sakura Taisen (and Japanese ^_^) See if you can make it to the high score list (I used to be there somewhere too ^_^).

Gamespot Japan's Sakura News

Sakura Taisen section in Yahoo! JAPAN

Sega's Sakura Taisen BBS
- a very busy BBS!

Next Game Square's Sakura Message Board
- a very friendly Sakura Taisen message board and great source of info ^_^

Tsukuba Branch of Teikoku Kagekidan (partly in English)
- contains some pretty home-made Sakura Taisen pictures, some rather interesting impressions of the characters ^_^, plus a really exhaustive list of Sakura Taisen links! In fact it's so extensive I'll just link to it below as the link to all links ^_^

The Amazingly Extensive Sakura Taisen Link Collection! ^_^
- The link page itself is English, but most of the pages referred to are in Japanese ^_^

Sakura Wars pages in Chinese

National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan anime club Sakura Taisen page
- has walkthrough for each episode, translation (in Chinese) of some Sakura Taisen side stories, character pages etc.

Sakura Taisen page from ust.hk
- has info about combine-attacks and mini-games, plus other info.

(Loosely) Related Games

Tokimeki Memorial - Forever with You
- if you like the social simulation part of Sakura Taisen, you're going to love Tokimeki Memorial. It's still the best puppy-love simulation around ^_^

Home of Team Tokimemo
- a Tokimemo site which aims to bring Tokimemo to the U.S. Unfortunately the chance of that happening is about as good as that for Sakura Taisen...

Sentimental Graffiti
- This Saturn-exclusive love-simulation game by NEC was one of the most overhyped games of 1997, with tons of merchandise already out months before the game itself came out on January of 98. The game is similar to Tokimemo but the game engine is not as much fun IMHO.

Online Import Game Stores

National Console Support
- has great selection of import games (including all Saturn Sakura Taisen titles) and they can get the games real fast (sometimes even a few days before they're sold in Japan stores!). NCS also has competitive prices, plus prompt and friendly service. Highly recommended.

The Rage
- also has great selection of import games (including all Saturn Sakura Taisen titles), but they tend to be a bit behind in stocking new games and their webpage isn't very update. (though recently this has been improved somewhat...) Competitive prices and good service. Recommended.

Stores with Sakura Taisen Products

UCI Bookstore
- UCI carries a good selection of Sakura Taisen products, like audio CD's, jigsaw puzzles, phone cards, posters etc. To find these, search for "sakura" in their search engine.

CD Japan
- they carry almost all Sakura Taisen CD's, VHS's, LD's and DVD's. Prices are good (direct yen-to-dollar conversion) but donno about shipping and delivery time etc...

HobbyLink Japan
- they carry Sakura Taisen resin kits and figures. You pay the yen price plus shipping, which is about the best bargain you can find for Japanese model kits. A big plus is that they accept credit cards for U.S. customers, unlike most other companies in Japan.

Sasuga Japanese Bookstore
- a good source for special ordering books from Japan. Occasionally they have a few newer Sakura Taisen books in stock, but if not, you can special order them and they can get it for you in about a month (assuming the books are available in Japan of course).
