About this Page:
Here I keep only what I feel are a few of the best anime songs. Even if you haven't watched some of these anime, please give the songs a try anyway.
Most songs here have been trimmed to the first 90 seconds (about 700k each). They are stored as 64000 bps mono MP3 files, which are in turn stored in ZIP files. The ZIPs might be a little inconvenient, but for some reason uncompressed MP3 files will not always download correctly off this server. To extract with long filenames, you'll need to use WinZip. Or, you could use PKZip in DOS and rename files accordingly.
The sound quality of these MP3s is pretty close to CD quality, except that it is monaural. Since I know only one case of someone dying from lack of stereo sound, I assume most normal humans will not find too much discomfort in listening to these samples. Here is a 10 second sample MP3 for you to listen to and find out what the quality is like (should download with no problems): sample.mp3 (80k)
