Ocean Waves, the official English title for a film more commonly known in English as "I Can Hear the Sea" (which is the literal meaning of the Japanese title), is a film about a love triangle that develops between two good friends and a new girl in school who transferred there from Tokyo. The new girl, Rikako, is at first really stuck up and distant, but eventually makes friends.
