Kikoutei Densetsu

(Legend of Inferno)

Part 2:  Kuroi Kikoutei (Black Inferno)

----- Part two of the OAV begins at Mia's house.  She is tending their wounds and Yuli is wondering what happened to Ryo and Sage.  Rowen correctly assumes that they are with Mukara, wherever he is.  Kento tells Mia to do what she always does and search her computer for all information about the Black Inferno.  Sai (lamer part #5) tells her not to bother and that there is no point because Mukara will mop the floor with them anyway.
----- Kento asks Sai about why he didn't give his power to Ryo. Sai (like the wus that he is) replies that he hates fighting.  Rowen mentions that it is the Ronin's destiny to fight.  Sai thinks that they should be able to choose their own destiny.  Rowen tries to convince him to be reasonable (big mistake).  Sai gets pissed and knocks Rowen down on the table (lamer part #6).  Kento tries to intercede in the fight and Sai decks him (lamer part #7).  Yuli manages to break up the fight and Sai runs out looking all startled.
----- Sai runs off to the docks and calls the Torrent armor.  It appears before him in a sitting position.  He says his goodbye's to the armor and then causes it to break apart and fall into the lake (lamer part #8).
----- Its night time.  Ryo and Sage wake up and find themselves in a strange place (Africa).  The decide to take positions in a tree.  When day comes Sage notices Mukara (not in armor) standing on a rock.  Behind him is a brown girl with blue hair (his fiance).  Mukara charges and slices the tree in half with his boomerang.  Ryo and Sage jump down and try to fight.  They call upon the Wildfire and Halo armors respectively.  Mukara tosses his boomerang along the ground and it knocks into Ryo completely shattering his helmet.  The boomerang dives underground and comes back up knocking into Sage.  Sage flies back and falls to the ground face first.  His broken helmet lands next to him.
----- Back in Japan, Sai is still sitting at the docks (its not like he is of any use anymore) and sulking.  Mia isn't having any luck with her research.  Yuli comes and asks Kento and Rowen if they are still friends.  They assure him that they are.  Yuli then asks why they aren't helping Mia with her research.  They both get up and try to help her, even if there isn't much they can do.
----- Mia hasn't found anything about the Black Inferno.  Yuli suggests they do a search for the phrase he used to invoke the armor (Yuli actually seems to be helping the Ronins in this OAV instead of his usual role as a hostage).  Rowen is able to perfectly remember the power up cry as "Nobezuya, Ijizuri, Zuamama, Runi."  Mia has absolutely no idea of linguistics but Rowen asks her about her grandfather's friends.  She immediately calls one up.  She discovers that the language is a form of Swahili used by the Tauragi village in Tanzania.
----- Back in Africa, Mukara is dragging Ryo and Sage back to his village.  Nadia (Mukara's fiance) confronts him and begins asking him questions about the two strangers, the black armor, and some such.  He doesn't respond, he just keeps walking (Get used to him not talking, he only says about 3 lines in the whole OAV).
----- In the village, there are a bunch of Tribesmen dancing around a fire, music is playing, and there is a big celebration.  Nadia (or maybe Naria, I'm not sure on her name exactly).  walks by a makeshift prison that Ryo and Sage are in.  The guards let her in and she gives them water and cleans them up.  She smacks them a few times to wake them up and then tells them to listen to her.
----- She tells them that her name is Nadia, that they are in the Tauragi village, and that her fiance Mukara is the guy who has been beating the snot out of them.  She continues to explain that Mukara is the leader of the village and that the people worship the Black Inferno as a god.  She explains to them that she is the high priestess of the village.  She then asks which one of them wears the White Inferno armor.  They respond that it is Ryo.  She begs him not to fight.  The White and Black Armors were never suppose to meet.  Ryo tries to explain that he needs all the Ronins to form the Inferno, but she doesn't quite get it.  It does become clear that Nadia doesn't want Mukara to fight.
----- The music playing outside stops and Nadia tells Ryo and Sage to escape because the ceremony will soon start.  She even helps them escape and leave the village.  Mukara is, however, waiting for them.  Ryo and Sage call their armor, but the helmets are mysteriously missing.  They combine both of the special attacks and blast Mukara.
----- When the dust clears there is a big crater in the ground.  Nadia starts to cry.  Mukara rises up from the center of the crater, and he doesn't even have a scratch.
