----- Congratulations! You made it to part 3. This one is also pretty dang weird. This one is about Kento, but Sage seems to have weaseled his way in for a better portion of this part.
----- We open in a warehouse with Kento doing pushups and Sage reading the book they got in part 2 from Rowen. There has been no sign of Rowen or Sai (well duh!). Both Sage and Kento know that Kento is going to be the next to go. Sage tells Kento to be careful.
----- It just wouldn't be Message without the nice long flashback scene. This time we flash back to season 2 of the television series.
----- Now we see both the white and black inferno armors in flames. Around them are the armors of the Ronins. They both fly up and throw down their weapons. The weapons impact into the ground and send out a massive energy surge that destroys the Ronins armors.
----- Back to reality. Sage and Kento go their separate ways. Sage starts meditating under a waterfall. Suzunagi floats down.
----- Now we see the vacant Halo fighting the white and black infernos. Somehow the Halo armor manages to whack the helmets off both of them but becomes darker by doing so. Sage is still meditating, but he is disturbed by the vision he had. When he opens his eyes he is confronted by the Halo armor. It holds up its sword as if it is going to kill Sage. Sage and the armor have a staredown and Sage apparently wins because for some reason kneels before him and hands him the sword. This staredown is a sort of mental battle between Sage and the Halo Armor. It was designed by Suzunagi to convince Sage that he was controlled by the armor and his will to fight (this was one of the major themes of OAV 2). Sage beat the armor and thus proved that he controlled it and his will to fight. Sage takes the sword and holds it above him. Then the armor and the sword disappear. Sage starts glowing green and Suzunagi disappears. She is rather mad that Sage withstood her trap.
----- Now we go to Kento standing on top of a building. He is afraid of facing the armor again because of the events that transpired in OAV 2. He is very afraid of the Inferno armor. Kento gets a brilliant idea (said very sarcastically) that he can force Suzunagi to reveal herself by threatening to kill himself (since she obviously needs the Ronins for something). So he jumps off the top of the Keio Plaza Hotel.
----- OK now Kento is hurtling towards the ground head first. Something manages to stop his fall as he is about one foot from being street pizza. He stands up.
----- Everything goes dark and we can see Suzunagi dancing with the manteau of the new Hard Rock armor. The new armor flies down at Kento and he manages to dodge but a large crater is formed in the street.
----- In the book that Sage was reading there are the plans for city hall. Sage runs off when he sees this.
----- Suzunagi floats down beside the new Hard Rock armor and talks with Kento. Kento asks if she is trying to bring back the Inferno. She responds but Kento doesn't believe anything she says. She sends the new Hard Rock armor flying at Kento again. This time he punches it several times. No effect.
----- However the armor starts to glow and shoots a beam up to the cloudy sky. We see an image of Suzunagi as a child and her mother. Suzunagi is laughing and having fun. She then walks off with her mother. When Suzunagi sees this she remembers her past and you can see the shock in her face.
----- Sage comes running into the scene. He sees the images in the clouds. When Suzunagi sees him she flies up and the new Hard Rock armor flies up with her. Kento jumps on it from behind and puts it in a full nelson. Now they are both floating up. Kento says that he is going to try the armor's power and calls for his armor. The armor begins to glow and envelops Kento. Two lights are seen clashing repeatedly (probably a mental battle for control of the armor between Kento and the new Hard Rock, kind of like what happened with Sage before). Sage shields his eyes from the light.
----- The armor and Kento disappear. Sage turns and walks to City Hall.
----- Thus ends part 3 and Suzunagi has 3 of the Ronins. Only thing left to do is go to part 4.
