----- I personally own all 11 of the Ronin Warriors action figures.  All information on those toys is provided solely by myself.  Information on the series one toys are provided by others.  None of my toys are for sale.  I am however intrested in acquiring or learning anything else about the Ronin Warriors toys.  I also collect/collected Transformers, Beastwars, Legos, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a small sampling of other toys as well.  None of which are for sale.

Basic Info and Analysis

----- The Ronin Warriors toys were produced by Playmates Toys Inc. 11 figures were made.  Playmates last major toy line was the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

----- The five Ronin Warriors, Ryo, Sage, Sai, Kento, and Rowen.  The four Dark Warlords, Anubis, Sekhmet, Dais, and Cale.  A Talpa figure was also produced in additon to a figure of Ryo in the Inferno Armor named Hariel.  They were released about the same time the show aired in the US.  However they were poorly marketed.

----- Two series of toys were produced.  Series one had more extensive character write ups.  Series two is what is now availible.

----- The overall quality of the toys is poor in comparison to such lines as Beastwars and GI Joe.  However they do make excellent display figures.  They are also quite durable in sub armor only.  They appear to be made primarily as a display figure rather than a durable toy.

----- The toys themselves consist of a figure dressed in sub armor, to which you clip on on the battle armor.  All the bodies are essentiall repaints with different heads.  The armor is plastic and clips on to the shoulders, forarms, chest, back, waste, feet, shins, and head of the figure.  The heads are undersized for the figures, however, the figures do look very good in full armor.

----- The toys in sub armor feature 14 point articulation, 2 wrists, 2 elbows, 2 houlders, 2 ankels, 2 knees, 2 hips, 1 neck, 1 waist.  The range of articulation is limited by the springs.  the toys have springs in them which run the length of the arms and legs so that you can pull back and have  the toy punch or kick.  The spings however greatly reduce the range of movement.

----- The weapons are distributed in a single plastic mold and must be cut or pulled out of the mold.  The weapons are possibly the worst part of the toys.  Several of the Weapons must be assembed from several pieces.

----- The clip on armor is very good.  It stays very true to the show.  It can however be a little fragile, and does not always attach properly.

----- It is interesting to note that Playmates incorperated the two major aspects of the Ronin Warriors toys (clip on armor and spings) into their popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Trutles line.  The turtles with the clip on armor were released shortly after the Ronin Warriors toys and were called Metal Mutant Ninja Turtles and the spings are being introduced in a new line called Coil Force Turtles.

----- My overall annalysis:  Great toys to buy if you like displaying them.  Terrible buys if you want to use them in your daily mega battle.  They just won't hold up under that kind of stress.
