ECCENTRICS seems to be about schoolgirls, love, and art; as such it's refreshingly different from the bulk of translated manga available in the West.

"But why the inquiry? Were the two planning to run away together?"

"But Hikawa-san? Yes, that's right."
Higurashi: "This three year suspension from school is painful; home house arrest. (something)
Senju: (says something about what's wrong with the school and missing a chance)

(Senju says that it's her fault for starting the uproar, apologises for being bad and asks for the suspension to be lifted. The teacher says that she helped her friend and that someday her friend would understand. The teacher says that Hikawa decided on reflection to accept the punishment.]
Narrator: What idiots, I think. Is there a heavier crime than for one person to betray another?
