No. 1: Bake-Nabe Gyousai

Demon Encylopedia
My stew pot rages on!
This Yookai's trademarks are his large pot and the weird walking stick he carries, the latter equipped with all manner of cooking utensils.
Together with the human children who have been made into the reporters and photographers for Yookai Times, he apparently travels the Yookai Realm in search of news flashes. Why Gyousai does this is a mystery.

He is turned off by leftovers. If you can't eat everything he cooks, he'll serve you up in nothing flat with the stick that is his pride and joy. On the other hand, he himself very skillfully manages to leave the things he doesn't like to eat, showing that he's pretty self-centered. He can season the many desires of humans in a variety of flavors.
