One of the major reasons I love UY so much is the fantastic music. The songs are simply second to none. There are so many types of music. There's the whimsical and light-hearted pop, haunting ballads, upbeat and often comical disco and retro-80's tunes, heart-racing orchestral scores, even good ol' rock n' roll. I especially love the rock music but each song is great. Every one of them fills me with nostalgia, although I can't explain why.
Here is almost every vocal track that has ever been used in the series (I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of songs). They consist of songs from TV and OVA Openings and Endings, Movies, insert songs and image songs.
This section of the site has some samples of many of the songs mentioned. They are the songs featured on the UY jukebox so they are mostly
early songs from 1981 to 1985. In the last month I've gotten a lot of mail about the links not working (actually a password prompt would appear
instead). I'm sorry I wasn't able to say anything sooner but my computer was out of commission for a bit. The thing is that the site was changed.
For some reason a password still comes up even after I already changed the links so I need to figure out what's wrong. But I haven't
removed the useless links yet. I figure it's better to leave them
up until I can get it fixed instead of removing the links and have to put them back up again. Just wait patiently,
but in the meantime, DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS. Not just yet anyway.
