Laputa: Castle In The Sky" is an animated feature created in 1986 by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki. The film followed on the heels of the hugely successful and critically acclaimed "Nausicaä Valley of the Wind", but Laputa proved to be its equal.
Laputa is a story of two orphans, Pazu and Sheeta, who were brought together by fate in a quest to find the castle in the sky. Pazu has always dreamt of finding the magical kingdom, while Sheeta was unaware of its existence but held the one key to unlock its mysteries.
The twosome must overcome the threat of air pirates, military officials and the gleam of evil. If they conquer over the obstacles, only then, will they find the lost castle in the sky, the floating castle of Laputa.
