The CD single contains the original version of "Le Temps Des Cerises" (the song Gina sang in "Porco Rosso") sung by French vocalist Jack Lantier (Porco was listening to this song on the radio at the beginning of the movie), a poem-song from Kiki's Delivery Service (not commercially available before), and the soundtracks of "Nandaro" and "Sorairo no Tane".

It comes with a leaflet which introduces all CDs Ghibli has ever released, and a set of A4 posters with each film's information printed on the reverse. Each disk also comes with a newly designed jacket.

Technologies known as Super Bit Mapping and the Pure Digital Link System were used to improve the sound quality of these new recordings.
