THE SLAYERS
(OVAs and Movies)

YES!! Slayers Movies!! OVAs!! Yay!!! Oh wait a minute, 
WHERE'S GOURRY? AND WHO'S THIS SCANTILY CLAD, WAY-TOO-
WELL ENDOWED WOMAN WITH THE OBNOXIOUS LAUGH?!

Lina Inverse is a 14 year old sorceress with an ego the size
of the Roman Empire, an appetite the size of Russia, and a 
bust the size of...oh, say, Rhode Island when compared to 
the Roman Empire. She's perceptive, intelligent, and 
incredibly powerful, so it's best to stay on her good side.
She likes to go around and blow bandits up then steal the 
treasure they stole in the first place.   

Her companion, Nahga the White Serpent (who isn't a serpent
at all...) is Lina's exact opposite.  She's tall, bouncy (if
you know what I mean), not quite as bright; she uses ice and
water spells where Lina uses mostly fire and explosions. 
Lina eats a lot, Nahga drinks a lot, and Nahga has a thing 
for hot springs, apparently.  She also has the most annoying
laugh on record and an ego almost as large as Lina's.   

*bows and worships Lina, but shoves Nahga aside*  Okay, so 
I'm a little biased here.  But, trying to remain objective,
I like the OVAs and the movies too.  However, I'm upping 
the age recommendation on this, mostly because of Nahga's
perpetual state of near-total-nudity.  The art, as in most
OVAs and movies, is excellent, the songs just ROCK! and the
situations....are pure silliness.  Especially in the OVAs. 
With no real plotline to follow, the writers can be as off-
the-wall as they want to be...and they take that opportunity
and run with it.  


VIOLENCE, NAHGA (LACK OF CLOTHING/OBNOXIOUS LAUGH) - 13 and
up
