IRRESPONSIBLE CAPTAIN TYLOR Review by J.L.Roberts ------------------------- I love this series. *giggles* It's hilarious and actually has a few good points to make about duty, obligation, and loosening up. You wind up wishing you were one of the crew of the Soyokaze yourself. Find the most irresponsible person in the world. Make them captain of a space cruiser in the middle of a war. Not just any cruiser; one that has a reputation as the dumping ground of the fleet. Throw them against the enemy. See what happens. That's Tylor in a nutshell. Justy Ueki Tylor (Just Awake Tylore) lives by the motto of "If it makes you feel good do it." He thinks joining the military would be the ticket to the good life. Once he retires he can get a nice fat pension and until then, he can have a nice boring desk job. Well, too bad for him, a war breaks out. Oops. Now he's on the frontlines, but....HE'S A LIEUTENANT CAPTAIN?! He's IN CHARGE?! Only havoc can come from this...and maybe a couple of victories for the home team. ^_^ So much fun, it ought to be marked so on the box. Some violence but it's almost all space ships shooting at each other. It should be okay for 13 on up to watch. It's released by the Right Stuf international, subtitled only (thank goodness). SOME VIOLENCE - 13 and up
