Almekyah Spear - Almeyah forms a diamond by touching the tips of her index fingers and thumbs together. Raising the formation of fingers above her head she shouts, "Almekyah Spear!" A crackling orb of golden electricity forms in the space between her fingers, then lances out, impaling her enemy with a steady flow of energy. Sky Spiker - As Almkeyah whispers the words, "Fire beyond twilight, fury beyond thunder that booms, lend me the power and in thy name I will strike down those who stand against me...", she raises her right hand over her head. Shouting, "Sky Spiker!", she points to the heavens and a gold lightning bolt strikes down from the sky, gathering for a moment in her hand and then arcing out to set flame to any enemy within a 100ft radius of her. Fireball - Almekyah whispers the words, "Fire beyond twilight, fury beyond thunder that booms, lend me the power and in thy name I will strike down those who stand against me...", and stretches out both hands before her, palms open and facing each other. As she shouts, "Fire...!" a golden ember flickers between her palms, growing larger and brighter. Shouting "...Ball!" she hefts her hand behind her, then hurls a gout of flame into her enemy's face. WEAKNESS: Two of Almekyah's spells require her to call on external sources for power. If her plea to these sources is disrupted, her spell is useless. Because she doesn't call on an external source of power, the Almekyah Spear lasts only as long as Almekyah's concentration and energy are steady. |

APPEARANCE:
Almekyah is slender and petite, with a wild mop of strawberry blonde curls that fall to the middle of her back. Her eyes are an unusual amber hue. She perfers to wear a white cotton blouse with a spearate, lace-up yellow bodice and brown cotton breeches all tucked neatly into a wide black belt. Completing her ensemble are a pair of knee-high black boots and a crimson cloak fastened about her shoulders with a golden clasp studded with a cut amber gemstone. Jangling at her side is a small felt belt-pouch containing all of her favorite "collected" stones. HISTORY: Almekyah is originally from the planet of the Makaiju, and was a child of the Tree of Life before it was corrupted to the Doom Tree. She grew to adulthood knowing the love and kindness of the Tree, but also grew independent of its nourishing energy. She was the first to turn away from the Tree and seek her own power, and thus is the oldest and most powerful of the Makaiju. Almekyah is not evil and did not contribute to the destruction of her homeworld. Before the Makaiju planet was destroyed, Almekyah became powerful enough to teleport herself away from the corruption and hatred. She "banished" herself to the distant planet Earth and to saftey. But, there was a flaw in her spell. As she was transported, Almekyah was regressed to the body of a 5-year old human girl. While she retained all memory of her adulthood and having had sorcerous powers, she lost all knowledge of how to use her magic. Almekyah's teleportation spell landed her in the midst of a Romani-Gypsy encampment in the wilds of eastern Europe. The Romani-Gypsies took in , sheltered, and fed the "Star-Born Child". From them, she learned the art of fortune telling, minor thieving, the occasionally useful acrobatic stunt, and the secret to calling on spirits and long forgotten dieties to power her sorcery. She also developed an understand of all languages, learned to write her own spells, and developed a...unique...fashion sense. As Almekyah once again bloomed into womanhood, she regained much of her former power, though she has not nearly reached the level of her former glory. Almekyah's being yearned for adventure and sought new power. After 10 years with the gypsies, she left and joined the circus as a fortune teller and acrobat. Soon after her 16th birthday, Almekyah dreamt of a group of girls dressed in sailor suits fighting a war against a dark nemesis and wielding amazing powers. She left the circus and set out for Tokyo Japan, also known as Crystal Tokyo, in the hopes that these dream warriors might help her regain the abilities she had has a child of the Tree of Life. |
