Yeah...uhm...rant...well, not much has happened to me lately. I still work at the library, oh I went to see Veggie Tales the Movie...heh...Ok here we go....

Random Rant Content part 1:
You probably shouldn't be watching Veggie Tales if:

• You consistantly mishear "Power Kicker/ he's the man" as "Power Kicker / kicks some ass!" in the Larry Boy song.
• You didn't even suspect you were mishearing it.
• And it makes much more sense your way!
• You think Barbara Manatee is a suggestive song and dance number
• Especially being in the David and Bathsheba story.
• And you actually think THAT'S still suggestive too.
• Oh come on! "You already have quite a few duckies" *sqeak* *sqeak*
• Not to MENTION " I think the dwarves have your mother confused with someone else." Veggie Tales is just dirty man...
• You find wiggling cucumbers somehow erotic...
• Elegeia Santos was your favorite character in Road Waffles
• You read Road Waffles at all.
• In fact you HAVE used cucumbers for certain....*ahem* non food activities.
• You pervert.
• You think that Christian entertainment is a plot to seduce the minds of the young for their evil world domination schemes.
• You are the Anti-Christ.
• You watched "The Nuttiest Nutcracker" and LIKED it (in this case you don't deserve Veggie Tales)
• "All computer animation that isn't Pixar sucks!"
• "All American animation sucks!" Losers.
• You're a stupid moron.

Rant Updates (or Random Rant Content part 2):
Last week we said we doubted the CapAlert "I'm gonna prove that the world's going to heck in a handbasket even if I have to make up the evidence" Guy wouldn't do Spirited Away. Well, he did, albeit really pathetically. Like "boy forcing berry into mouth of little girl" really needs to be "wanton violence/crime". I mean seriously. Nevermind that he doesn't even mention the main character in animal form bleeding through various wounds and his mouth. And graphic slime vomitting repeatedly. Well, what - ever. We already tried to establish that he only knows how to count when it serves his purpose. That is his with a little h, as in the cap alert guy. I don't give him credit for doing the work of the Big Him. Dorfwad.

Oh, and I finally got a new tripod ad. I'm less annoyed. Though it did take a month.

Random Rant Conent Part 3:

Ever read a book with a really moronic plot twist? Well, I'm going to tell you about two that I have in hopes that you don't have to experience it.

Runaways by V.C. "I'm actually dead" Andrews
Aside from being really hostile towards mother figures and really annoying... Basic plot summary: A bunch of kids with no parents who were raised in orphanages and foster homes run away from their current home get and end up getting caught again. On the way a girl gets the measles. The book states it takes place in the late 90s early 2000s. Uhm, the measles? Hello? Uhm...ever hear of VACCINATIONS! Which almost all schools require. Like wards of the state are going to have a choice about getting vaccinated. I mean PLEASE. That's so stupid. And NONE of them had had shots, and one had already HAD the measles. HELLO????!!! And it's not like VC has the excuse of being old because SHE'S DEAD and they hired someone to write kinda like her. Talk about lame.

Vanishing by Bruce Brooks
Plot Summary: Girl's parents split up, girl's mother is a drunk, stepfather is a redneck. Girl lives with father, get's real sick, grandmother gets tired of her coughing and sends her away again. Girl goes to hospital, doesn't want to live with mom, decides not to eat until she gets her way. Whatever. Don't you think that if a girl is willing to nearly kill herself because she doesn't want to live with her family, nevermind that her parent is so drunk when she comes to the hospital that they can't explain things to her, don't you THINK that in the real world child protective services would be all over that in a heartbeat? Don't you just think? Perhaps???? Geez...just 'cuz it's a kid's book doesn't mean that you have to be STUPID.
