Team Ginyuu comprises five members.. Ginyuu himself, Guldo, Baata, Rikuum and Jiisu. They are Freeza's henchmen, and at the time of their appearance, were virtually undefeatable. Only Goku had the power to defeat them, although later Vegeta gained sufficient power to take them on. They took their roles very seriously, and even developed a team pose for added effect. It was a hilarious pose, and even Goku and Freeza himself were speechless. Ginyuu is the leader, purple with two horizontal horns. By far the most powerful member of the team, Ginyuu's special ability was to swap bodies with his opponent. Eventually, he was defeated when Goku threw a frog in the path of his attack while he was trying to swap bodies with Vegeta - with hilarious and unfortunate consequences... Guldo is by far the weakest of the lot, and was the only member which was killed before Goku arrived on Namek. Very short, light blue, and with two big eyes in addition to two small eyes, he had the power to stop time temporarily, and also to paralyse his opponents. Almost killed Klilyn by impaling him, but Vegeta stepped in and killed Guldo, freeing Klilyn in time for him to dodge the sharp piece of wood heading for him. Baata is greyish-blue, tall and muscular, with a reptilian look (in fact, Ginyuu and Guldo also have a slight reptilian look). Amazingly fast, he could fly fast enough to catch the Dragonball Vegeta hurled away and return in an instant. Goku was faster, though, and the unfortunate Baata was beaten senseless by Goku. Vegeta then broke his neck after Goku had rendered him helpless, much to Goku's horror. The red-haired Rikuum is tall, huge and the most muscular member of the team. The only member who looked human, he bears more than a passing resemblance to Android #16. Single-handedly thrashed Vegeta, but was beaten in one blow by Goku. While he was unconscious, Vegeta blew his prostrate figure away with a blast after killing Baata. Jiisu is a slender human-looking person, red-orange in colour with long white hair. Ran away to get Ginyuu after Goku defeated Baata, and later fought with Vegeta while Ginyuu was fighting the others. Unfortunately for him, Vegeta was much stronger now as compared to when Rikuum beat him, and Jiisu was critically wounded in the battle, then finished off with a ki blast to the head. The Ginyuu team first appear in manga #23, and by #25, all the team are dead, apart from the croaking Ginyuu.
