GET YOUR ANIME BEFORE "THE MAN" TAKES IT AWAY 08/13/00

In a recent post to rec.arts.anime.misc, companies were alerted of Sakura Anime, a helpless fansub distributor who companies plan to penalize for selflessly bringing anime to the massess and having a stupid name.

"Bootlegging ADV titles is a serious offense" said AD Visions Matt Greenfield, "The people behind this will be.... Oh Shit! Zeta Gundam for only EIGHT BUCKS! Hold on guys, I have a package that needs to be sent out!"

When Anime News Wire asked Bandai's Jerry Chu what he planned to do about the situation, his face got very solemn. Then, Chu opened a desk droor, pulled out an icepick, and left the room.

In out attempt to get the full story, ANW contacted Sakura Anime via phone. This is what they had to say:

Anime News Wire: What are your feelings on Bandai and AD Vision's selfish pursuit of profit?
Sakura Anime: It's just another example of "The Man" trying to hold me down.
