Recently, Mike Tatsugawa, the man behind Anime-Expo and the SPJA, anounced that J-List was in fact the dealer he had alluded to in a previous post to the Anime-Expo Message Board. In the post, Tatsugawa claimed that one booth had sold pornographic items to minors at Anime-Expo. When asked to leave they owner of the booth demanded a police officer be called. When the police officer arrived the dealer told him that the majority of anime involved sex with young girls.
Angry about these accusations, J-List's Peter Payne posted this response to rec.arts.anime.misc

However, Tatsugawa was quick to respond to Peter's post, with the following article
