Changes from Manga to Screen

• Kotori never bore a holy sword.
  The creators did not have the time to introduce Takiko (Kamui's Aunt) who originally bore the 2nd holy sword, not Kotori.
• Kotori was originally killed by Fuuma when struck WITH the holy sword & died strung up on the cross. (The very same way the the visions had always predicted).
• Many other characters were left out of the film for the sake of time.
  
  Ex. Fuuma's father & mother, Kamui's aunt, 3 Campus guys, Saiki, Kakyou , etc.
  
  
• Kakyou (the dream-weaver) was replaced by a new character; Asagi Shogo (water elementalist). Were as Yuuto was the one who was the water elementalist.
• 1st Holy Sword was bore from Kotori's mother, not Kamui's mother
• 2nd Holy Sword was bore from Kamui's Aunt, not Kotori
• Left out Kotori's madness when she witnessed the gruesome deaths of her mother & Kamui's aunt.
• Kamui never absorbed the sword into himself. The holy swords are as solid as any other. (This isn't Ashura here)
• left out too many shojo elements (scenes when Kamui & Kotori were alone. Including flashbacks)
• never explained Kotori's heart condition. So those who wondered why she couldn't run fast, or scream out for help when abducted, it's cause her heart is too weak & could be easily strained under shock or pressure.
• never explained how or why Fuuma turns "evil" (Then again, the manga never did either).
• When Kamui 1st displayed his powers to Fuuma & Kotori, they did not react surprised nor question how he could do such things. To them , Kamui should of been a normal boy as any other. Where as in the manga, they DID act surprised & questioned themselves.
