Possitive & Negative Aspects of the Movie

Kamui K: Tokyo Tower

Positive:

  • long movie
  • beautiful, high quality art
  • got high, experienced people working on the film (including seiyuu's, director, etc..)
  • did their best to keep the long story together for a film.

Negative:

  • Seishirou/Subaru's scene is way too short.  How can TB fans feel satisfied with this scene?  They didn't even mentioned Subaru's sis nor did they talk about their past or revenge. But is understandable because of the time constraint, & Subaru isn't the main character in this film.
  • soundtrack isn't that great.
  • story is cut-up (too many things left out & changed, and not for the better)  Though it's understandable considering that this is a movie & not a series.
  • A very short & disappointing "Final Battle".  One strike towards the opponent hardly counts as a "battle". The prediction scenes hinted on a longer, more full, and satisfying ending than this.
  • They never explained how or why Kamui & Fuuma could wield a sword so easily.  And how could Fuuma's proficiency can be greater than Arashi's skill who had trained with her sword for years. But then again, neither did the manga.
  • They never explained why Kamui & Fuuma had to kill each other with the Holy Swords instead of using their own powers. But, neither did the mangas
  • They never explained right out how Kamui learned his powers or how he trained to use them, nor explained what he has been doing when absent for 6 years. But neither did the manga.
