Portraits of the Digidestined : Mimi’s story

I never really asked for this. Really.

Okay, growing up in a perfect home made me like I am, there’s no
denying it. Having the best food, fashionable clothes and a loving
mother and father can make someone become so enclosed in a place.

Then, camp came.

Originally I wanted to go to Cheerleading Camp but something about
the camp I went to eventually just seemed to pull at me. Here, I met
up with people who accepted me like I was : a bit self centered,
airheaded and comfort loving.

That same self centered outlook on life nearly cost my life when I
first arrived in the Digiworld. Scared and alone for a while, I met up
with the Digimon I now call Palmon. Her name suits her well, for she
IS a pal in every way.

Like the others, I had grown up during our travels in the Digiworld,
thoughts of a comforting bed and good food always pushing every
step forward.

I’ve grown. For the better.

I am Mimi Tachikawa, the daughter of the Tachikawa’s! I will fight
the Evil Digimon for the fate of this world!

...After lunch and a manicure.

End Mimi’s story.
