Happens after the Darkstalker Tournaments.
Felicia was allowed to go and fight under close
watch from Sarryn. Follows the games timeline,
there is no relationship between Talbain and
Felicia since they were mortal enemies in this
timeline. (That happens in the manga) Slightly
altered from the series, and Morrigan Asland
is Felicia’s best friend.

Soul of Light : Part 2
Flame of Greatness

Felicia put down her cup of tea in the small
tea shop in Crystal Tokyo. She gazed out the
window into the bright sunlight. A year had
passed since the Darkstalker Tournaments.
All the most powerful Darkstalkers were
“invited” to participate in it. Bah! More like
DRAFTED into the fighting. The outcome
was most unexpected since many expected
Dimitri to win the tournament.

Morrigian Asland won with the merging of
Lilith.

Felicia’s sences informed her that a ceritan
raven haired senshi was coming to her table
to talk. Sailor Mars sat down in front of her
with a cup of Jurian coffee.

“Hi,” she said noncommitally.

“Hey. You off duty?”

Sailor Mars, once known as Rei Hino nodded
as she sipped the steaming cup of coffee. She
set it down and stared at her youkai friend.
“You want to talk?”

Felicia was silent for a second but then slowly
nodded. She adjusted her favorite slacks and
sweater a bit nervously. The slacks and sweater
were the gifts she had recieved from Sarryn
that fateful day two years ago. “I guess...” she
trailed off as she stared into the noonday sun.

Rei studied her intently for a few minutes until
she spoke. “Are you concerned about Sarryn?”

Felicia snorted in disgust. “Sa-chan is able to
take care of himself. I’m not worried about him.”

“Then what?”

Felicia looked like she was about to cry. “Its my
world. Ever since we crossed over here, and
after the Darkstalker Tournaments, I haven’t been
able to concentrate.” she sighed in exasperation.
“I worry about my friends there. Well, what friends
I did have. I’m not even sure if Morrigian still
remembers me since we didn’t meet at the
Tournaments.”

“So you miss her?”

“OF COURSE I MISS HER!” Felicia grew quiet. “We
were the best of friends ever since childhood. She
was mischevious and I was bouncy and happy.
I have a great life here, I don’t want souls, I can
stay in the sunlight and I’m protected from Sarryn’s
Holy power since the doublet system is slightly
altered to let us be lovers. Don’t you see? I miss
the world I came from.”

“I can’t argue with your reasoning Felicia,” Mars
said while draining the cup of its last dredges. “But
where would you go if you went back? You could
run into that crazy hunter man!”

“I don’t care! I want to visit Morrigian again if its
only for a few days.”

“Then maybe I could help,” a young voice came from
the booth behind her. They spun around to see a
young man with short black hair, brown eyes and
dressed in total black. “I know the Makai on a...how
should we say this? Intimate basis. My name is Ki.”

***

“I’m coming with you. I heard that Dimitri was
attacking the Makai to gain control of it and I want
to come.”

Felicia sighed at Sarryn’s stubborness. Once set on
something, he was like granite. “But what’s going to
happen when they find out that you’re a human in
the demon world? They’ll skin you alive!”

Sarryn grinned devilishly. “I got that covered. Watch.”
Whisps of energy formed around his body as a gout
of flame arose around his body. His body grew bigger
as his face changed and short horns formed on his
head. In an instant, he was a tan skinned,
sharptoothed man with flames emerging from his
mouth. Felicia eyed him critically.

“Nice touch with the flames,” she said with
a smile. “But the loincloth is a bit much. Or
should I say less?”

“Thanks,” Sarryn said in a really deep Bass voice
with a touch of sarcasm. “I don’t know how long
I can support the body. I’ll have to revert back for
at least an hour to recharge. I don’t know how
long I can support the body but with the extra
power from this form should keep me out of sticky
situations.” He snapped his fingers and a white
shirt and black pants appeared on his person.
“Oh, and call me Ifrit.”

As he left to pack, Felicia blinked slightly. ‘Now
where have I heard that name before?’

***

Morrigian was lounging in her seat, wearily listening
to a diplomat drone on and on to whatever his
problem was in his area of government. She supressed
a long and loud yawn until a aid came up to her.

“Milady Asland, there is a young girl and her escort
waiting outside for you. She claims to be an old friend.”

“What does she look like?” Morrigan asked.

“She is a catwoman and her escort is a horned
mancreature.”

Morrigian’s face split with a wide smile. “Felicia. Send
her in.”

The Diplomat bowed and took a seat in the stands as
the doors swung open. In strode a young woman with
a long sleek dress. The other was clearly a monster with
short horns, a set of sharp teeth, inteligent eyes. He was
wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The pair emerged
into the middle of the room and a rumble of speculation
arose. Morrigian silenced the others and stood.
“Good day Felicia. Welcome to my home.”

Felicia nodded and they embraced. “Hi Morrigian. Long
time huh?”

Morrigian smiled and hugged back. “Very. Who’s your
escort?”

Felicia pulled back and grasped a clawed hand.
“This is my lover,” she said.

Mumbles arose as Morrigian arched her eyebrow.
“Lover? You’ve grown up. And taken to wearing
clothing as well.”

Felicia blushed prettily. “I know. His name is Ifrit.”

Gasps resounded around the room as everyone
finally recognized the monster in front of them. No,
not monster, Esper. Morrigian’s eyes widened in
shock. “You’re dating the Lord of Fire?!” she
exclaimed.

“Lord of Fire?” Felicia shot a bigsweating Ifrit a
glance which said “we’ll discuss this later” look.
“I didn’t know. Is he famous?”

A elderly demon stood and pointed a shaky finger
at Ifrit. “Famous?! He’s the legendary Lord of Fire!
The ally of the Returners! He is a powerful Esper who
has incredible powers!”

Felicia glared at a now sweating Ifrit. “Really?” she
drawled out, slightly vicious. “we’ll DISCUSS this
later.”

Sarryn moaned inwardly. Her “Discussions” can make
one sore in the pelvic area for days. She was very
vicious in bed.

***

Morrigian and Felicia strolled the gardens of the castle
while the sounds of soldier training resounded in the
air. Felicia had the most wonderful few days of her life
as she spent it with Morrigian.

They turned a corner and found Ifrit using a polearm.
The polearm was a cross between a halbard and a
scythe as he danced around in the most graceful kata.
His muscles rippled as he practiced shirtless in the
yard. Morrigian gave a appriciative grunt. “I can see
he’s good in fighting. Now I know how you fell for him.”

“Fell could be the right term for how we met,” Feliicia
nodded in agreement.

Ifrit towelled himself off and headed into the baths with
the women watching fondly.

***

Dimitri floated into view as he surveyed the area.
He smiled at the power levels that Morrigian
displayed at his arrival. “Am I interupting a bad
time?” he rumbled.

Morrigian growled and changed into her fighting
form. “What are YOU doing here Dimitri?!”

“To do battle. Winner takes the girl and the palace.”

Felicia yowled in anger. “What are you talking about
idiot?!”

“Enough talk.”

***

Explosions rocked the area as Ifrit changed into his
clothes. Cursing his timing, he dashed out into the
yard and promptly charged up. He floated off the
ground and tackled Dimitri with a bolt of fire.

Dimitri shot a look at the Esper. He narrowed his
eyes. “Lord Ifrit, you are defending them?”

“Felicia is under my protection Dimitri, and nothing
will happen to her.” He drew his polearm and charged.

Bringing the sabre end down, Dimitri blocked it with
his cape. Ifrit thrust his hands out and channeled a
bolt of fire into his hands. With a flurry of punches
and kicks, he knocked Dimitri back a few steps.

Dimitri growled and flared up into his true form : a
reddish bat like creature. He lunged and swiped at
him. Ifrit parried and jammed the end of the staff into
his opponents stomach. Sarryn felt his control on the
form dissapating rapidly as he was brought down by
a combo which sent him flying into the ground.

Felicia ran up and gathered her lovers hand into her
own paws. “Sarryn! Are you okay?”

Sarryn moaned. “I’m okay but my hold on Ifrits body
is diminishing rapidly. In a minute, I’ll have to revert
and use my other powers.”

“Hang on. We’ll get you away from the vampire.”

Demitri tapped his foot impatiently. “Are you quite
finished yet?”

“Shut up. That’s it, I’m going full power.”

Felicia put a restraining am on his shoulder. “No,
just go to normal stage.”

Sarryn nodded. With a burst of white light, his outer
shell was torn away to reveal a black haired human.
His clothes formed into pure white cloth with a half
armor chestplate. His arms gained a pair of golden
bracers with a crystal in the arms. He gained a samuri
sword with the insignia of a dragon on the blade
itself. His forehead gained a teardrop insignia as his
white cape rippled.

“WHAT IS THIS?!” Demitri yelled as he took in the
sight of the human.

Morrigian sided up to Felicia. “So care to explain?”

“Long story.”

***

Sarryn sipped the tea offered to him by the scared
demon servants. The reason being that he still was
carrying his long white wings on his back. As if the
power level wasn’t unnerving enough. Beside him,
Felicia was finishing explaining to Morrigian on how
she fell in love with an angel.

Morrigian peered into her cup of tea. “I just don’t
believe it. An angel and a Darkstalker falling in love.”

Epilogue

“So this is the Ninganai huh? Really bright.”

“I got used to it. So, how’s your lover huh?”

Morrigian Asland snorted. “Johnathan’s never around.
He’s on his planet for now.”

“Johnathan? A human?” Sarryn snickered. ‘Baka oyaji.’

“An exceptional human. Even I have my vices.”
Morrgian shifted her weight as she flew alongside
Sarryn who was holding Felicia in his arms.

Another day set in the Chronicles of the Holy Sword
Saga.
