“We need something new in our approach. The Power Rangers
have gotten too wise to our sneak attacks with that computer of theirs
alerting the populace. Zoll, come forth and answer me!”
General Zoll bowed and said, “Yes, my master?”
The Emperor steepled his fingers, a deadly sign. “What is your
status Zoll? What have you learned?”
“My master, I have learned that the Blue Ranger, is afraid of
Clowns. We have the perfect monster. Clowninator, come forth!”
From his sword, the creature stretched from the blade. He was tall,
about six to seven feet with a outlandish clown suit of black, red, white and
orange. On his face were diamond markings that outlined each eye. “I am
Clowninator. How may I serve you Emperor Darksol?”
	“What are your skills Clowninator?”
“I can manipulate and create disharmony among the Rangers.
They will then fall against my powers, as I destroy them one by one!”
“Excellent,” the Emperor said, leaning back in his throne, content.
“Go, Clowninator. Seek, stir havok, wreak on the fears, of the Blue Ranger.”
“As you command.” Clowninator bowed and dissapeared in a puff
of smoke.

“I don’t like Carnivals,” JT said pointedly. “Not with those...
clowns around there.”
“What’s so wrong with clowns JT?” Kazia asked.
Brendan grinned a bit. “He’s afraid of them.”
“Hey!” JT cuffed Brendan upside the head. “I mean come on!
Clowns are like Carnies. Beady eyes...small hands...” he shuddered.
“Oh really, and what else are you afraid of Mr. Charles Finster?”
Jetta teased.
JT rolled his eyes in disgust. “Okay, okay I’ll come along with
you four. Say, wasn’t Shaun and Katrina coming?”
“They said that they were going to AAGD for an hour or so,”
Jordi said.
“So come on now, lets go before the Carnival closes!” Kazia
grasped his arm and dragged him into the gaping maw of the Clownish
Carnival entrance. The three followed quickly after the other two.
JT hung back before saying, “I have a bad feeling about this.”

Episode 3 : It’s Playtime!

“AAGD has successfully aided the Power Rangers in the last
two battles against Emperor Darksol. But we need to step up the process.
Commander Stanton from Lightspeed has given us the technology to
create our own Power Rangers.” Commander William McKibbin steppled
his fingers and leaned forward. “Captian Eugene Skullavich, you have the
job of choosing Five Rangers to represent Advanced Angel Grove Defence.”
“Sir?” Skull asked, shifting his stance to a more steady one. “I
do not believe that the Power Rangers need backup at this moment.”
“Nonetheless, I have to disagree Captian Skullivich. If, in all
likelyhood that the Rangers encounter a monster that would injure them
severely enough to prevent them from protecting the city, then we will
need Power Rangers of our own.”
“Sir,” Shaun stepped forwards. “I must disagree. Time after time,
the Power Rangers, past and present have successfully defended earth from
countless monsters. Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Rito Revolto, Master Vile,
the Machine Empire, and so on.”
“Your point being?” McKibbin said in a low voice.
“I am saying sir, that until something truely powerful and evil
comes up, then perhaps only then we should not have to create Rangers.”
“And the...current menace to the earth does not count as a
problem, Luietanant Erin?”
“No sir, in my opinion, it does not.”
“As with I sir,” Katrina stepped forwards.
The portly commander frowned a bit. “Power Rush Rangers
will be developed but as a last resort, if these current Rangers fail. Captian
Skullivich, Luitenant Erin and Alexia, you’re dismissed.”
Upon exiting the commander’s office, Shaun wiped his forehead
clean of sweat. “that was too close.”
“What’d you got against AAGD developing Rush Rangers Shaun?”
Skull asked of his friend. “They’re possibly no match for your Rangers.”
“It’s not that, it’s the gut feeling. Power Rush Rangers are a
tricky process. Much like the Turbo Powers, their powers are mainly speed,
not brute strength as it is now. But there is a problem. If I overmatch the
speed with the strength, one could quite possibly shake their molecules
apart.” Shaun reached out and touched the panel, sliding it aside to reveal
the hidden chute. “Lets get down to the lab and I’ll explain on the way
there.”

“Perfect, quickly, set up the mirror traps now!” General Zoll
watched his Black Gears quickly put large mirrors up into the funhouse
walls. “Those Rangers won’t know what hit them.”
“They’d better not,” Clowninator added, polishing one of his
gold handled swords. “Or they will rue the day they met the Clowninator.
Heh.”
Just then, the floor shimmered and a hologram of the Emperor
appeared. “Is all in readiness?” he asked without preamble.
“Everything is being set up,” Zoll reported. Then hearing the
babbling grinding of a gear, he then added, “The Rangers are on their
way.”
	“Excellent. Proceed as planned.”

Back up on the moon base, General Anatha looked at her Dark
Master and asked, “What happens if General Zoll fails?”
“He will not fail... I have forseen it. All is occouring to my
design.”
Anatha frowned a bit. It was a risky gamble, always preying on
people’s minds. Tricky buisness. She prefered to go all out on her opponent,
rather than preying heavily on their minds one at a time. Then, the victory
would be so much sweeter than before.
The Dark Emperor was thinking on the other hand. Trickiness,
vile means, subterfuge, all these things were part of the dark cult he had
originated from. The cult of the Black Dragon. For Millenia, he had long
since stowed away, practicing and excersizing paticence, needed for his long
exile into the Lost Galaxy. That buffoon, Captian Mutiny didn’t help,
always wanting more treasure like some squid sucking pirate man with the
typical one patch over the good eye. Pah, he wasn’t worth his time. So, he
decided to seal himself away, and wait it out until something came up to his
advatage. Time was everything for him. He could wait a couple of thousand
years if nessesary to destroy the Power Rangers and his opponents. The
hated Zordon of Eltar was dead, destroyed by the hands of the Red Astro
Ranger. But his hated spawn, Shaun and Katrina of Eltar carried on his work.
A small, fendish smile crossed his face. Oh, their screams of pain
when he killed them himself would be delicious. But for now, it would be
time to deal with their Power Ranger children. They would be the first to
go.
