“The Power Rangers can’t defeat Virtual Creatures, and the
VR Troopers can’t defeat the Monsters. Conclusion : We exchange a
bit of energy between each other.”
Shaun looked down on the talking dog and grinned a bit.
“Not a bad idea. That’s really something you came up with Jeb.”
The dog shrugged, a facinating thing since they don’t have
the muscleculture to do so. “When you’ve been in strange situations
like this, you start thinking unconventionally.”
Katrina then reached over to the control panel and activated
the comm switch. “Rangers, Troopers, return to base.”
Soon, five flashes of light and three strange patterns of
circutry appeared in the control room, resolving into the Troopers and
Rangers. JB stepped forwards. “What’s up?”
“Jeb has a plan,” Professor Hart replied. “We will need your
Morphers and Virtualizers for this to work.”
The eight exchanged glances before they relinquished their
transformation items. Taking them from the assembled heros, Shaun
placed them on a analyzer and it slid into the computer banks. The
Professor and Katrina worked the controls for a minute before a small
male electronic voice reported, “Transferance complete.”
The analyzer slid out from the computer, revealing the five
Ring Morphers and three Virtualizers, all gleaming with newfound power.
Brendan picked one up and looked at it intently. “I don’t see much
differance. Wha’d you do?”
Looking incredibly pleased for himself, Jeb replied, “We did
a Power exchange. New powers are added to the Rangers and Troopers
transformation matrix’s. The Rangers are now VR Rangers and the
Troopers are Elemental Troopers. This will allow both teams to affect
the monsters now sent against us.”
“Whoa,” JT picked up his ring and slid it onto his finger. “I
can feel the Power telling me new stuff.”
Just then, the alarm sounded and Shaun turned, activating the
nearest viewscreen. “Good timing too, the Skugs backed by Zoll and a
monster called the Swordsman in Spring Hills.”
“Time to morph everyone. And may the Power Protect You.”
Ryan and Jordi cast a glance at each other, and filled with the
new power, called out simultaniously...
	“Ranger Transform!”

Episode 7 : Trooper Transform! Part 2

George Kelman started to regret the idea of letting his son
be a Ranger. This was one of those instances.
When the Skugs had appeared, Fred had immediately
morphed into Red Turbo. He didn’t stand a chance, since the powers
he had didn’t let him touch the Skugs. His leg just passed right through
it. The exact opposite was true of the Skugs as they quickly laid waste
to Fred. As he carried his son’s limp body away, a brilliant flash of light
appeared before him. George fought the urge to cover his eyes or risk
dropping Fred.
From the light, eight figures resolved into being. Strange
figures, white bodysuits, with different colored armor covering their
forearms, chest, legs and middle. Their helmets seemed a strange
blend of some kind of robots helmet and completed with a dark
mirrored visor. The first one, decked out in light blue armor looked at
him. “Mr. Kelman?”
	“Yes, who are you?”
The figure seemed to smile. “It’s me, Blue Ranger.”
Just then, Fred stirred in his arms and looked up at the eight
who stood proudly in the light. He leapt out of his fathers arms,
ripping off his helmet. “GUYS! What in the world happened to you?”
Purple and Yellow Elementals looked at each other in
amusement before Purple answered, “We’ve had a change,” she replied.
	“For the better,” Yellow finished.
“Yes,” Green Elemental added. Red Elemental smacked him
upside the head.
	“That’s fine and dandy but...”
	“AAAAAAUGH!”
With a resounding crunch, Justin slammed against the wall
that they currently were hidden behind. He was unmorphed, and
battered, bruised and in need of medical help. A sharp intake of air
was heard from Yellow Elemental as she bent over to shake Justin
lightly. “Justin? You okay?”
Justin stirred and muttered, “Tasha, don’t wake me up.”
Blue Trooper turned to his fellow Blue suited companion.
“We need a doctor for Justin.”
“Right. Blue Elemental to Doctor Mizuno.”
“Mizuno here,” came the responce. “JT, I’m bogged down
with pacients. That last Skug attack hit hard.”
“Damn. We’ll take care of Justin instead.”
“I don’t think that’s an option,” Yellow Elemental pointed
out. “LOOK!”
Skugs started to swarm towards their position, waving
sharp pointy objects of mass hurting. Jordi turned to Blue Trooper.
“You guys, Yellow and Purple take on the Skugs, Green and Blue,”
he turned on them, “Get everyone out of here, and take Justin and
Fred to a hospital. Mr. Kelman, you and I are going to make sure that
all the houses are abandoned during the attack.”
“You can count on us Red,” Kaitlyn answered.
	“Okay everyone, break!”

	“Hi-yah!”
Blue Trooper cut a venerable swathe through the assembled
Skugs, backed up by White Trooper. Black Trooper and Yellow Ranger
were battling it out back to back, watching each others movements.
Purple Ranger had drawn her Saber and started hacking away
at the monsters, gleefully acknowlaging the amount of damage each
one took.
Just then, JB’s sensors registered a high flying object and
shouted, “Heads up!”
Everyone darted to the sides as a bomb exploded. Blue
Trooper looked up and scowled under his helmet. “Here comes Zoll
and Swordsman again.”
“And looky, they brought the Gears. How nice.” Purple
Ranger drawled.
“Shut up and fight! Kaitlyn Double Team Command!” In
a flash, a second trooper appeared in the same white armor.
“Super Saber Command!” A saber appeared in JB’s hands.
	“VR Lazer Saber!”
“It’s time to bring up the stakes a bit! Weapons!”
	“Elemental Lightning Pistols!”
	“Elemental Star Cannon!”
“Lets do it,” came from the voices under the masks. Then,
all hell broke loose.

“Lita, come help me here for a second!”
Dr. Lita Kino grabbed a roll of gauze and walked over to
Amy who was currently bandaging a badly scraped knee. “Hand me
the gauze,” she said, holding out her hand.
Lita gave her the bandage and said, “How’s everyone?”
Amy brushed a bang of blue hair from her face and said,
“Not bad, considering. Those Skugs sure picked a wrong place to
rampage through, didn’t they?”
A nod and Lita looked around. Her gaze set upon Yellow
Turbo who was currently holding onto a smaller child’s hand, speaking
softly to her. It was still a bit of a shock, having kids as the second
line of defence of earth. But Tasha’s Turbo Powers can’t even
scratch the Skugs but give the Gears a whole world of hurt. A worried
expression grew on Lita’s face as she turned to the blue haired doctor.
“I hope Fred and Justin are alright. They were in Spring Hills when
this happened.”
Just then, the doors slammed open and in came two strangely
armored figures, helping Fred and Justin inside. Lita jumped to her
feet and demanded, “Who are you guys?”
Green Elemental cocked his head and said, “Lita, it’s us,
the Power Rangers. We’ve undergone some change so that we can
fight the Skugs and Virtual Monsters.”
Lita walked up and looked at Green Elemental. Just then,
his visor slid open to reveal his face, half hidden by the mouthguard.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said cheerfully before his visor slid
closed.
Satisfied that they were the Power Rangers, Lita grasped
Justin’s arm and helped him hobble over to a table. Tasha immedately
pounced on him and hissed, “You tried to fight those Skugs, didn’t
you.”
The accusatory tone in her voice didn’t help any as Justin
groaned and collapsed on the table. “Tasha, I’ve just had my behind
handed to me on a silver platter. I’ve got a headache the size of
Manhattan, please don’t shout.”
“Tasha, please move away. Let Amy work.” Blue Ranger
gently moved Yellow Turbo aside to allow the doctor come and work
on Justin’s injuries. Luckily, his accelerated healing had kicked in and
he was well on his way to recovery. Fred was in the same position as
well.
