Asuka is the pilot of Eva-02. She is referred as "Second Children". She is only 1/4 Japanese. She comes to Japan with Kaji Ryouji, and with her Eva-02 of course. Unlike Rei, she is active, positive, and self-motivated. Also, she is very proud of her sk
ills as an Eva pilot.
Although she hit Shinji at the first time she met him, she likes him as time goes by, and started "chasing" him. Shinji likes her a lot too. Once when Asuka blamed Shinji that he forgot to make lunch boxes for her, their classmate Touji said it is " t he quallel between wife and husband".
