Hikari, Kensuke and Touji are classmates of Shinji, Rei and Asuka. They are studying in Tokyo-3 No.1 Public Jr. High School class 2-A. Hikari is class representative. She is a serious girl, but she has a little bit changed after she made friend with Asuka. Touji hit Shinji after he found Shinji is pilot of Eva-01 because his sister was injured during an Eva-01 operation against Angels. However, later when they saw Shinji crying inside Ev a-01, he feels very sorry and became friend with him. Later he became pilot of Eva-03. Kensuke is a close friend with Touji and Shinji too. He likes weapons and camping.
