X is an occult battle manga taking place in the near future. It
features great artwork by CLAMP, intriguing characters and complex
plots. It takes place in the same Universe as Tokyo Babylon (another work by CLAMP).
A seer sees the coming of the "End of the World". In her vision, a
boy, Kamui, who can either be an angel or a demon, seems to hold the
key to the world's destiny. Two destiny collide as two seers (sisters,
as it turns out) each try to bring about the future as she sees it. A
group of men and women called the "Seven Seals", also known as
"Dragons of Heaven", who would side with the seer Hinoto, and the
"Seven Angels", or "Dragons of Earth", who would side with the seer
Kanoe, begin to gather around Kamui. The final legend of the Earth is
about to begin...
