FFVII 7 : Aerith Question
another stupid question (SPOILERS AHEAD) :
just started playing FFVII lately (yes, way behind time), and there's a lot of rumours about reviving Aerith. I gather the one about reviving her in the Japanese version's a hoax, but what about the U.S. version then? Got this off the Net:

Getting Aeris' Ressurection by Joe Carson
First of all, always be as kind as you can possibly be to Aeris. This
includes the ovbious, such as what to say to her, as well as always keeping her in
your party whenever you can, and always keeping her healthy,ect. It also means
avoiding doing things that will offend her, such as leaving her to enter the
Honeybee Inn earlier on in the game, ect. Be sure to check every place you can
earlier in the game, especially when she's with you, and always select the kinder
choice when it gives you the option of what to say/do. She doesnt have to have
her great gospel limit learned before the end of disk, but be sure to have it with
you anyway.
As the game progresses, you must get every materia at 'master' level, by
racing chocobos,ect. Also, be sure NOT to kill emerald weapon. Complete the
side quests and have your current characters earn their full limits and retrieve their
ultimate weapons.
Now go and win the game as usual. If done correctly, after the fmv and
credits roll, a screen will appear telling you to insert disk 1. Go through the
sequences with cloud and red at cosmo canyon after that, then go through the
door that was s aled shut(the one you went through earlier on to see seto). The
door will now be open. After the following sequences, your party will consist of
red and cloud, with red's father following them. After getting to the ancient city,
go up to the water Aer s was placed in after being stabbed earlier on. You have
to touch an exact spot on the water, which isnt directly visible(its like the part with
the Hot Springs). After touching the right part, the water will begin to swirl(really
awesome looking) and eris will rise to the top. After the following sequence, fight
monsters outside the pool to earn any of Aeris' remaining limits. When all this is
done, have Aeris go with you to fight emerald weapon. You'll now get the awes!
