| The Angel suddenly appeared above Tokyo-3 and Eva-00 was ordered to
intercept it but then it attacked and fused with Eva-00. Eva-01 was ordered
to save Rei when Rei decided that it would be dangerous for the Angel to
fuse with Eva-01, so Rei decided that the only way to defeat the angel
is to self-destruct the Eva-00 with the fused Angel. Eva-00 self-destructed and took the Angel with it along with Tokyo-3 |
