| All moving objects within close proximity to the Angel is targeted
and destroyed, so the only way to defeat it is from a distance and it was
in this episode that the proto-type for the Positron Rifle was used. It was this time that EVA-00 made its debut in the series by protecting EVA-01 with a shield. The Angel was defeated by the second shoot from the Positron Rifle fired by EVA-01 after the first one missed. The main aim of the Angel is to penetrate Geofront. |
