CHARACTERISTIC Fish like creature with arms and legs that swims in Magma, can withstand high pressure and has the ability to grow in an alarming rate


This Angel was discovered still in its pupa stage inside the magma core of Mt. Asama and was subject for capture when it grow in an alarming rate and posed a threat to Eva-02 which was instructed to acquire it alive.
Using a plan of Asuka, Eva-02 pierced the core using the Progressive Knife of Eva-01 after cooling it using the coolant of the D-type high-pressure armor and the angel was defeated.
It was in this episode that the D-type high-pressure armor was used along with the electronic weir to capture the still-pupa Angel.
