COMMENTS

He is Gendou's only ally and friend, in times of crisis, he doesnt hesistate to give advice to Gendou. Why he joined Gendou is unknown.
He performs almost all responsibilities and ceremonial duties of Gendou at NERV except during an Angel attack
He first met Yui Ikari when he was an associate professor of Kyoto (presumed) University under bio-metaphysical research (1999)
He transferred to the UN Artificial Evolution Laboratories after learning of Gendou's plan to stop Seele (2003)
