The story line is pretty good and i was wondering if you would know wher i could get a hold of the next couple of issues even if they copies or scanned images of the pages?? | Comments: I've been an fan of Giant robots for some time now, but I haven't watched enough of the shows to know enough about them. My favorite is the transforming motorcycle from Mospeada (In tha American Version, it's called the Cyclone armored Motorcycle). I'm also designing a game meant to be played with the plastic models you can buy of the robots. That way I can buy more models;) I'm also studying Japanese, so maybe someday I'll be able to watch and understand the original Anime without the horrible Englis dubbing. |

Incredible Website! I first got into anime through the show Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets) at about 1980. Since 1986, I've been highly interested in the "real robot" shows (Gundam, Macross, VOTOMS and the like), but I also enjoy the super robot shows too. In fact, I have several videotapes in my collection from the English-translated Getta Robo, GoShogun, Danguard Ace, Grandizer and so on. For live-action shows, I've seen and enjoyed VR Troopers (the combo of Spielban and Metalder) and Superhuman Sa urai Syber-Squad (Gridman)--the latter a "guilty pleasure" for me. I build plastic models, write fan stories and have entered a story in Kodansha's annual story competition. I've also written a couple articles for American fan magazines. I'll visit here often! All robots are cool. But the abolute most powerful is Grendizer. This guy dishes out so much punishment and takes a lot of hits without even getting scratched! Now that's my kind of hero. He also looks the best and Duke Fleed is the most humble charac er of all. Although he is the best, he never showed off ever. Now that's a real charcater. Your description and review of Votes V is very accurate. I don't think you left out anything. I did not see the actual ending of Voltes V because former President Marcos of the Philippines banned the show. I do know that Steve Armstrong (Ken-Ichi Gou) nd Prince Zardos (Hainel) are half-brothers, but I did not know that Prince Zardos (Hainel) died. Steve Armstrong and Prince Zardos are the English name versions of Ken-Ichi and Hainel. Steve's other brothers are Big Bert (the big guy) and Little John ( he one with the robot octupus). Mark is the cowboy and Jaime is the daughter of the General. Steve's dad is Dr. Armstrong. Hi, I'm from Jakarta Indonesia. My name is Kelly and I'm 23 years old. It has been a while since I talked about Japanese Super robots. I never thought there could be tons of Japanese Super Robot Fans out there! Until I discovered them lately on the Intern t. Your page is GREAT!! But why is there so little about my Voltes? I also want to know is there anyway I can get my hands on a copy Voltes V's movies. I'll pay no matter how much the price is. I'm A VERY BIG FAN OF VOLTES!!! I still have my collection of toys from my childhood. Lots of them. I never it would as expensive as it is nowadays (I'm still suprised). I have lots of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE original action figures (I think there are about 10 of'em including He man & Prince Adam). Is there anyway I can exchange them with Godaikin Voltes V? Because my cousin borrowed it (with my Godaikin GOD SIGMA) a few ears back and never returned it. (I just discovered the value, I think i'm going to kill my cousin...). Please reply my letter. I very hyped about this ( and it took me off from my current hobby, BBurago Super Car Collection and even Final Fantasy VII!), I'm glad that I'm not weird considering there are lots of people who is crazy about this Japanese Super obots (I thought I was the only one).
