Ritsuko belongs to First Technology Division in Department of Technology and Development of NERV Headquarters, and responsible for the development of Evangelion. Ritsuko is a beautiful and cool scientist, as well as know more than Katsuragi Misato due to the fact that she is the direct person-in-charge of Evangelion. She works closely with Misato during operations and conducts ongoing research on the Angels based on the analysis of samples obtained from those that were defeated and salvaged, such as the first and second ones. From this, she has determined that the Angels are made up of the same materials as humans and are also genetically similar, although their compositions are different. Ritsuko's mother's personality of a Scientist, Woman, and a mother is transfered into the MAGI, each being one of the 3 parts of it:Casper, Belthsar, and Melchior.
