   Angels *15 years ago the first Angel, Adam, was discovered and awakened by some scientists in Antartica. To reduce the damage stated in the Dead Sea Scrolls, they attempted to reduce Adam into it's egg form, and that is what truly caused the Second Impact. The Angels are possibly evolved forms of the ancestors of humanity, part of the different branches in the Tree of Life, and by this, Humanity becomes the 18th Angel. The Angel's names are given according to the Angel's names from the Dead Sea Scroll, and their main objective is to prevent humanity from being evolved to a higher state of existence (Human Complement Project objective), someting God has forbidden. To achieve such a goal, it's neccessary to artificially create the "Fruit of Life" from the "Tree of Life", which is owned by God and is forbiddened to be touched by humankind. The Coup de Grace would be the Third Impact, destroying the material world and completing the completion. NERV Although it's primary mission was said to be destroying Angels, it's main objective is to execute the "Human Completion Project." The Dead Sea Scrolls, EVA-00, EVA-01, EVA-02, and Lilith are all held within there. SEELE SEELE is German for soul, and in Evangelion the secret international organization follows the inscriptions on the Dead Sea Scrolls by defeating the 17 Angels, and then initiate the Third Impact. NERV was founded to create its scenario, but when Gendou betrayed SEELE it decided to form a special A-801 Committee to approve mass production of EVA-05 to EVA-13 and deceive the Japanese Government into sending a special task force to destroy the NERV facility and kill everyone in sight by saying that NERV has plans to provoke the Third Impact while it's main intention is to find the children who pilot the EVA robots and eliminate them and acquire ADAM, LILITH, EVA-01 and EVA-02 from NERV, and then SEELE would make EVA-01 provoke the Third Impact that will waste present existence of man and lead him to the next stage of evolution(Happened during both and . Marduk Institution Marduk Institution was used as the judge to select the EVA pilots, and is set under the Instrumentality of Man project as well as SEELE, and it turns out to be 108 corporations whose strings were controlled by NERV. (106 of the corparation was dummies) Project E "Humans found a god, and thus, tried to obtain that. As the result, punished were the humans. That was 15 years ago. The god they found vanished. They, however, tried to revive the god by themselves. That was ADAM. Made from Adam to be close to the god was a human. EVAs All the Evangelions are derived from Adam, the first Angel known. They are living beings, protected by armor fitted all around them, and controlled directly by the pilots' willpower, and efficiency determined by the synchronization between EVA and pilot. For a strange reason, only 14-year-old chilren without mothers are most likely to be able to link with Evangelions without any problems. All they found was the soulless body of Yui, with the soul kept within EVA-01. This would explain the high synchronization rate with Shinji. Rumors lead that EVA-00 has Naoko's(Ritsuko's mother)soul and EVA-02 with Asuka's mother's soul. If true, it would explain why EVA-00 was trying to kill Rei. EVA-01 turns out to be the most important one of all of them, with the S2 engine within it, it becomes an angel by itself. Third Impact SEELE succeeds in initiating the Third Impact, for when EVA-01 was being destroyed by Shinji through sending the Lancea Longini through the EVA's neck it stops and the EVA-05 mass production series creates the Tree of Life formation, initiating the Third Impact. The blast engulfs all of Japan, then China then Russia........
