This story is about a girl named Koto, a daughter of a clothing shop owner. When she was 10 years old, she was engaged to marry a Japanese royalty soldier, Masaomi. She later met a foreign navy, Sejitto, at a party, who was involved in espionage. Koto helped the navy escaped and then fell in love with him. She decided not to see him again because of her engagement. But, however, they eloped at the end.
