Queen Beryl did again resuface and is the red eyed, red haired, head baddie of the original Sailor Moon series, only subserviant to an imprisoned Queen Metallia who was only reffered to as "The Negaforce" in the North American series (In the Japanese Series Queen Metallia becomes increasingly irritated with Queen Beryls failures and takes over the final battle with Sailor Moon). Queen Beryl can often be found lazing around on her throne and blanky staring into her crystal ball. She commands several generals whom she sends out to gather energy for the conquest of earth. She has a quick temper and does not tolerate failure, swiftly punishing those who fail her too often. Queen Beryl also finds Prince Darien attractive and sees his potential as being a powerful ruler so she kidnaps him hoping to brainwash him into working for her. A plot which is doomed to failure as Sailor Moon helps him regain his memories. Queen Beryl is then destroyed by Sailor Moon in the final battle for peace.
