Nephrite is the next general called upon after Jadeite has been given the boot. Nephrite is given the same task of gathering energy for the Negaforce but goes about it in a methodical way. Nephrite believes that each human has one day out of the year at which their energy is at thier peak, due to the alignment of the planets, stars, moons etc...He therefore intends to find those people on thier peak day and sap thier energy, a plan that Queen Beryl seems impressed with. He then poses as a millionaire by the name of Maxfield Stanton, who drives a flashy sports car and is admired by the ladies. There under that cover he exacts his plans. Of course his plans become thwarted by the Sailor Scouts also, and with little success he must report his failures back to Queen Beryl where a giggling Zoisite is usually hanging around to tease and annoy him. Posing as a human Nephrite eventually becomes smitten with Molly whom he finds to be in love with him, and upon realizing her to be in danger runs to her rescue. Nephrite saves Molly's life and in the process is killed by his own comrade Zoisite who was plotting against him.
