With such renowned credits to his name as animation director on "Lupin III: Cagliostro Castle", Otsuka Yasuo is one of Japan's top professional animators. At the same time, he is also a serious fan of jeeps, leading the way in Japanese military vehicle research in this capacity.
Now, under Otsuka's direct supervision, with his personal touch extending to everything from detailing to perspective effects, we bring you "The Otsuka Yasuo MILITARY 4x4 GRAFFITI", a CD-ROM covering the 50-year history of the jeep in all its charm.

A slideshow over one hour in length, based on long years of research and extensive resource materials.
50 years of jeeps, brought to you with great jazz standards in the background.

The slideshow includes Otsuka's impressive illustrations, covering everything from the first jeep ever, the 1940 Bantam, to the MB/GPW, of which over 600,000 were eventually made, and which criss-crossed the globe, to the last jeep used by the U. S. Army, the M151 'MUTT', to the newest model of the Humvee, used in Bosnia.
This is in addition to 101 photographs, handpicked from Otsuka's personal collection. These images show the multiple capabilities and roles of jeeps, including gun-mounted models, models that travel over water and offroad, jeeps as field ambulances, Air Force jeeps, Follow-Me jeeps, radio jeeps, rail jeeps, and jeeps equipped for winter weather travel.

The explanatory text is all new, based on Otsuka's famous tract, "JEEP JEEP JEEP", and narrated by Otsuka himself.
All of this is backed by a rich soundtrack of jazz standards, including "As Time Goes By", "On The Sunny Side Of The Street", "In A Sentimental Mood", "Take The 'A' Train", and "Sophisticated Lady".
It starts off with the engine sound of a Bantam BRC-40.
Jeep fans will be thrilled by this slideshow, with its high-quality visuals and storytelling quality.
