Shintani himself tells the behind-the-scenes stories of how his creations saw the light of day, in super-deformed animated form, together with Pochi, the heroine of Dragon, Inc. The two of them say a lot of funny things (Japanese only).
Pochi's voice is provided by Yamaguchi Yuriko, a.k.a. Akagi Ritsuko of Neon Genesis Evangelion fame.
In the studio corner, we also have the complete text transcript of the interview, including those parts which were not turned into dialogue (Japanese only).

On Area 88: "The readers were actually second-guessing the ending. So I decided that I wasn't going to do an ending that they could second-guess." |
